PHOTOBLOG
We were required to produce the photoblog which consists of 25 to 30 photos of a particular setting or scene at any one location of our choice. In addition to that, we were also need to include necessary write-up about 20 to 30 words per picture together with captions to further highlight our story on the blog. The photos should focus on or portray life in the following areas: -

People – ethnic background, gender, age, description of clothes.

Food – types of food available or food presentation at hawker stalls or restaurants.

Activities – kinds of activities found in the surrounding of the suggested location.

Cultural conservation on buildings – Façade, interior and exterior design of the building and ornamentation.
In a group of six with Jia Yi, Cindy, Wei Ling, Farah and Shun Qi, we chose Ipoh.
Reflections:
Throughout this assignment, I have understand more about the culture, architecture and food about Ipoh. Besides, i'm happy that i am able to apply the principles of communication and behaviour in analyzing interaction with my groupmates better. I had a lot of fun with my groupmates in Ipoh. I would really like to thanks Jerry and Sharon for bringing us around in Ipoh eventhough they are not in our group.
MURAL ARTS
We were required to choose three murals or metal art of our choice and describe the background information about the mural. Besides, we also need to highlight concepts of Effective Public Communication found on our selected mural or metal art. We also need to prepare an oral presentation for about 20 minutes.

REFLECTIONS:
Throughout this assignment, i have learnt and understand more about the artist, the background history of the mural art in Penang street. I really enjoy walking around the Penang street searching all the mural arts with my group members and taking weird and creative pose picture with the mural arts! Furthermore, i can now understand and relate EPC concepts into my life more
EPC RESEARCH ASSIGNMENT
We were required to study two trade or businesses in any part of Peninsula Malaysia (or any other small town that is approved by the instructor) or the Klang Valley. We need to focus our study on two examples of the same type of trade/business for our research. Besides, this research assignment must be conducted through a combination of both primary sources. Forming a group of 6 with Julie How, Amanda Ng, Wendy Liew, Egbert Chin and Kaizer Ooi, we chose beverage industry (tea & coffee) for this research assignment and we conducted our interview and research on two beverage business, Purple Can (tea) which is located in Kuala Lumpur and Moustache Houze in Penang.
Reflections:
It was really fun doing this assignment with my groupmates in Penang. Throughout this assignment, i have learned and understand more about the beverage business and understand the basics steps involved in preparing the research report. I was also able to apply APA style citation accurately and effectively in the research report. For the formal presentation, I was able to improve on my public speaking skills and understand different forms and methods of arguments used in different circumstances and bring out different result in different individuals in negotiations and persuasions.
